Ballymena, 1st October 2009 – the staff, customers and friends of Vision Asset Finance were today celebrating their 10th Birthday at their offices in the Courtyard of Galgorm Castle. The company was initially established back in 1999 by Trevor Finlay having identified a niche in the market for leasing computer systems.
The company has developed significantly since those early days. It now has 7 staff supporting customers, with the range of assets financed now including cars, computers, catering equipment, boats, plant and general business equipment. Specialist funding for Cycle2Work Schemes and the eduLease finance product for Schools and Colleges complete the mix.
Trevor Finlay, Managing Director at Vision Asset Finance said: “We are delighted to have achieved our 10th anniversary. The last 18 months has been very challenging for many business owners as the credit crunch has made it increasingly tough for them to raise finance for new equipment. Thankfully with our robust portfolio of supporting banks, we have been able to help many of these businesses who have approached us for help.”
Trevor continued: “Looking forward, I see the next year to 18 months remaining difficult for customers obtaining credit as banks continue to consolidate and attempt to recover from their losses. Vision Asset Finance however, is very well placed to assist any business looking for credit to aid expansion. We now look forward with motivation and anticipation to what the next 10 years has in store!”
